Sal Marchese  –  Recording Secretary

Sal is our recording secretary responsible for maintaining the records and formal communications of our group. Sal, who retired as a lieutenant, is a 35+ year veteran of the fire service and worked in, as well as led, some of the busiest fire companies in the city; E60, L17, L113, & L142. You’ll get a nice thank you letter from Sal if you’re kind enough to donate to our cause… you’ll also get a nasty gram note if you’re not nice.

Sal D`Angelo  –  Treasurer

Sal is instrumental as our financial watchdog overseeing all of our organizations financial transactions including budgeting, managing of funds, ensuring financial compliance, and advising the board on financial measures, as well as setting up appropriate financial systems. Sal’s the guy with the check book, so we have to be nice to him. His 24-year service to the city of New York started with the NYPD and ended with the FDNY. As a firefighter first assigned to E-204 and followed by E-167, where he was a UFA Delegate. Sal was active with the union and a member of the Constitution, Election, and Financial Committees of the UFA. Sal is also a retired military veteran serving 26 years with the United States Navy.

As Financial Secretary, Pat receives, records and reconciles funds and transactions, prepares monthly and annual reports, prepares payment authorizations, as well as ensuring financial records are in line with our policies.
